The heat-recovery equipment is for an open fireplace or a wood-burning stove. It comprises a casing (1) containing finned tubes (2) whose ends are connected to its top and bottom walls. The rear part of the casing is open, and is connected to the rear part of the fireplace (3) or, in the case of a wood stove, to the ambient air. Hot-air outlets (5) are provided in the top and front walls and/or in the front parts of the sidewalls. Where there is a metal firegrate, this can have ribs on all walls acting as guide plates, increasing the heating surface for the air.
|
