<p>The stand for displaying electric lighting fittings for sale comprises two vertical rails forming the vertical sides of an upright rectangular panel. The panel may be made of wood, reconstituted board, or metal. The two rails have rectangular holes cut in them at intervals, forming supports for brackets. A second smaller rectangular panel carrying the light fittings is held on four brackets which fit into the holes in the upright rails. Wiring for the lights lies between the two panels, with terminals being provided at each of the holes in the front panel, where a fitting may be attached. The vertical edges of the display panel may be finished with a rounded wood or plastic beading to avoid any sharp edges being exposed.</p> |
