The carburettor has two autoregulators for qualitative regulation of the fuel mixture fed to the engine, both functioning identically, but operative for different ranges. The first regulator controls the air/fuel mixture up to a rev rate of 1750 plus or minus 250 r.p.m., and the other controls the air and fuel mixture from a rev rate of 1500 plus or minus 100 r.p.m. and beyond. Each of the auto regulators is operated pneumatically by the reduced pressure caused by the engine rotation. They are mounted coaxially within a common block for supplying them with fuel via a constant level chamber and each incorporates a venturi calibrated in accordance with the supplied engine cylinders.
|
