发明名称 GENERATION OF MOLTENNCARBONATE FUEL CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To minimize the decrease of O2 and CO2 concentrations in a mixture gas which is fed to a positive electrode, and increase the efficiency of the generation by introducing gas which contains CO2 and flows out of negative electrode into a CO2-separating system, and making CO2 to be cooled and separated by the vaporization heat of liquified natural gas which is supplied to the separating system. CONSTITUTION:Liquefied natural gas used as fuel is vaporized in a CO2-separating system 1 to make vaporized natural gas. The vaporized natural gas is mixed with hot steam before it is introduced into a fuel-reforming system 2, where it undergoes steam reforming and is converted into a mixture gas consisting of H2, CO, CO2 and H2O, which is fed to the gas chamber of a negative electrode 3. The former mixture gas reacts with CO3<2-> within the negative electrode 3 to become a mixture gas consisting of H2 (unreacted), CO, CO2 and H2O, which is introduced into the combustion chamber of the fuel-reforming system 2. Next, a mixture gas which flows out of this combustion chamber and consists of CO2, H2O and N2 is introduced into a condensor 6, where H2O is removed. A mixture gas which flows out of the condensor 6 and consists of CO2 and N2, is introduced into the CO2-separating system 1, where CO2 is solidified and separated by the vaporization heat of liquefied natural gas. The thus separated solidifed CO2 is vaporized, is mixed with air which is fed to a positive electrode 5, and is introduced into the positive electrode 5.
