PURPOSE:To use the three-wire transmission line as the transmission line, by utilizing the property of the electrochemical gas sensor to generate electromotive force in itself when the set potential of this sensor is made zero to detect gas. CONSTITUTION:When gas is flowed into gas sensor 2, gas sensor 2 becomes a kind of oxidation-reduction fuel cell to generate electromotive force, and electrolytic current IC proportional to the gas concentration is generated. Through electrolytic current IC has a positive temperature coefficient, it is compensated by temperature compensating thermistor 5 having a negative temperature coefficient. Electrolytic current IC is transmitted to amplifying circuit 12 through the three-wire transmission line. In amplifying circuit 12, electrolytic current IC is converted to a voltage and is detected. |
