PURPOSE:To provide high treating ability of catalyst by providing guide vanes for preventing dust accumulation of the upper stream side of the gas flow of flow regulating members provided on the flow passage for the gas to be treated. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst device provided with a catalyst bed 3 in the flow passage for the dust-laden gas to be treated and flow regulating members 2 on the upper stream side in the gas flow direction of said catalyst bed 3 is provided with two sheets of platelike guide vanes 8 on the upper stream side in the gas flow of the members 2. The guide vanes 8 are provided in the direction crossing the direction of the top surface of the members 2 and the disposition state when viewed from plante is a trancated conical-shaped. Hence, the width of the outlet side flow passage of both side flow passages formed by the guide vanes 8 and the side plates of a casing 5 is narrower than the inlet side. The angle of inclination of the guide vanes 8 to the side plates of the casing 5 is adjustable. If the guide vanes 8 are provided in this way, the accumulation of the dust on the members 2 are prevented and the clogging and drift of the catalyst bed 3 are eliminated. |
