A formwork board (3) is made up of at least two formwork board parts (4 and 5) fitting together, whilst the separating line between at least two of the formwork board parts (4 and 5) is defined by abutment webs (12), straps or the like which, in cross section, are located in an inclined position relative to the formwork skin (11) of the formwork board (3) and to the outer edge webs (6) of these formwork board parts (4 and 5). Preferably, the formwork board parts (4 and 5) fit together to form a rectangle. The formwork board part (4) whose abutment web (12) forms an obtuse angle with the formwork skin (11) can be removed first during the stripping of the forms, thus producing a correspondingly wide form-removing gap. The removal of the first part (4) of the formwork board is made easier by the wedge shape resulting from the inclined arrangement of the abutment web (12).
