The invention relates to sheet-profiling grips with a fixed female die and a movably mounted male die adjustable by means of one of the two hand levers. The male and female dies are arranged in a housing of the grips. So that thick sheet metal can be shaped with a small force in such a way that a uniform profiling depth is obtained over the entire depth of the mouth of the grips, the male die (21) has a slot receptacle (23) which is directed perpendicularly to the mouth of the grips formed from female die (10) and male die (21) and via which the male die (21) is adjustably guided in the direction of the female die (10) on a guide pin (24) secured in the housing (15) of the grips. The male die (21) is held at a distance from the female die (10) at the end of the mouth of the grips by means of a spring (18) supported on the housing of the grips or on the fixed hand lever (1). A pressure roller (27) is supported on the side of the block-like male die (21) remote from the female die (10). The pressure roller (27) is rotatably attached to the hand lever (25), rotatably mounted in the housing (15), outside the rotary axis (pivot pin 26) of the hand lever (25). When the mouth of the grips is open, the pressure roller (27) is supported on the male die (21) in the end area of the mouth of the grips and, when the mouth of the grips is being closed, rolls on the top side of the male die (21) towards the start of the mouth of the grips. <IMAGE>
