<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an impact error by uniforming the thickness of an air film by providing a guide means, which prevents air from flowing in from the intake end of a rotary drum, around a guide drum. CONSTITUTION:A dummy tape 5 is wound around the drum 1 of a video tape recorder within 180 deg. angle range where a tape 2 is not wound. Further, windows 6 are provided near the entrance part 3 and exit part 4 of the dummy part 5, and the tape 2 passes through the window 6, so that while the dummy tape 5 is close to the drum 1 side than the tape 2, the both are overlapped each other at the entrance part 3 and exit part 4. Consequently, no air flows in and out through the entrance part 3 and exit part 4 owing to the dummy tape 5, and an air film around the drum 1 continues over the overall circumference, uniforming the thickness.</p> |
