PURPOSE:To enable to visually confirm easily and effectively whether or not a pigmented body is placed in a recess, by a method wherein a pigmented body is placed in a recess formed in the upper surface of an opaque base plate and a transparent cover plate is placed thereon. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of circular recesses 9 are formed at regular intervals in both longitudinal and transverse directions on the upper surface of the opaque base plate 8 for forming a circular base 1, and the upper surface is provided with positioning projections 10 at longer edge parts. The base plate 8 is placed on electrodes 14 of a high-frequency heating maching, the pigmented body 6 is placed in each of the recesses 9, and the transparent cover plate (the same as the base plate in shape and quality) 11 is placed thereon by engaging the positioning projections 10, 13 of both the plates with each other so that transparent domes 12 will surround and cover the recess 9. After bonding the plates to each other by high-frequency heating and pressing, the integral assembly is cut or punched at the circumference of each of the circular bases 1 to obtain the desired decorative eyes for dolls and toy animals. |
