Roller conveyor, consisting of supporting rollers (2) rotatably mounted in succession in a roller-conveyor frame and driven at least partially by means of a chain drive, the chain drive consisting of chain wheels (3) arranged on the supporting-roller axles of the supporting rollers (2) and of a driving chain (4) engaged with the chain wheels (3). The driving chain (4) is arranged within one of the longitudinal spars (1) of the roller-conveyor frame. The drawn strand of the driving chain (4) runs within a closed noise-insulating hollow profile (10) located in the longitudinal spar (1). At the same time, the drawing strand of the driving chain (4) is guided by means of a guide strip (11) formed on the outside of the hollow profile (10), and the supporting rollers (2) are connected to the driving chain (4) via a slipping clutch. <IMAGE>
