<p>The mounted or trailing spreader for fertiliser comprises a hopper (1) for the latter, at the rear end of which is a bladed rotor (11) inside a housing (7). The material is projected through a lateral opening (12) in the housing, which can be turned about the rotor axis to vary the position of the opening. A screw (4) is included for feeding material to the rotor. The hopper can be trough-shaped, with an auger running along its bottom in the lengthwise direction and extended by an overhung cylindrical conduit. The rotor is keyed onto the free end of the auger shaft protruding from the conduit, from which the housing is removable.</p> |
