PURPOSE:To obtain a good characteristic of fuel injection with a low cost means, by temporarily receiving fuel, further forcibly feeding the fuel in desired timing and pressure with a fuel pressure mechanism, and providing the pressure mechanism between a fuel regulator pump and automatic valve injection nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Distributed fuel, regulated and fed from a fuel regulator pump 4, is fed to a fuel pressure mechanism 8 through a pipe 7. The fuel pressure mechanism 8 is provided with a pressurizing chamber 15, formed by the point end part of a plunger 11 and a narrow contoured part 13 of a case 12, and the fuel fed from the fuel regulator pump 4 is once fed to this pressurizing chamber 15. Further an oil pressure control system 18, provided for controlling feed pressure and timing of the fuel pressure mechanism 8, is equipped with a pressure control valve 22, controlling pressure in the pressurizing chamber 15, and a timing valve 25, determining the timing for fuel delivery. |
