1. A method, performed by an image forming apparatus, of controlling service provision, the method comprising:
dynamically configuring a service provided by the image forming apparatus, comprising:
writing information about at least one near-field communication (NFC) service, from among NFC services that are provided based on NFC, to an NFC tag;allowing a user to login via NFC to the image forming apparatus;determining an NFC service that is allowed for the user in response to the user log in;updating information that is written to the NFC tag according to a result of the determining; andconfiguring the service using information updated in the NFC tag, dynamic configuration preventing the service from being exposed to an unauthorized use and allowing a service appropriate for a user environment of the user to be provided.
