PURPOSE:To make deodorization treatment of exhaust gas either unnecessary or minimum and to collect simultaneously sensible heat of the exhaust gas, by a method wherein a part of dried gas occurring at any region of an incinerator is led into a hot air generating furnace after its indirect heat exchange with combustion gas, and the remainder of the above dried gas is led into the lower part of a combustion region. CONSTITUTION:Contaminated mud to be thrown into an incinerator 13 through a conveyor 11 is dried in a dry region 28 and producing dried gas is burnt in a combustion region. Then, a part of the dried gas in the dry region 28 to be extracted through a circulation blower 71 is led into the combustion region 29 through a hot air generating furnace 14 after sensible heat of combustion gas is collected, and the remainder of the above dried gas is led into the lower part of the combustion region 29 through a duct 76. With this, deodorization is carried out as a foul odor ingredient existing within the dried gas is dissolved thermally and is burnt under a high temperature state. |
