PURPOSE:To manufacture a disk which effectively removes dust from a floppy- disk magnetic head by adhering fine powder of chromium oxides to a surface of a plastic sheet, and forming fine grooves in the film surface in a mesh shape into numbers of separate blocks. CONSTITUTION:For removal of dust from the magnetic head of a floppy-disk device, a soft clothlike wiper cleaner 3 is provided on the internal surface of a jacket 2 made of vinyl chloride, and a cleaning disk 2 is incorporated. A long- sided hole 1c is made in the jacket 1 from the edge to the center and when the jacket 1 is set in the device, the magnetic head comes into contact with the disk 2; and a locking notch (d) is provided to the jacket 1. The disk 2 has adhered Cr2O3 fine powder 5 covering the surfaces of a polyester resin sheet 4 and in this adhered film, fine grooves 7 are formed by etching in a mesh shape to obtain numbers of separate blocks 6. During cleaning, dust on the magnetic head surfaces are lapped with film surfaces of blocks 6 to remove the dust away into the grooves 7 through the wiper cleaner 3, thus cleaning the surfaces perfectly without allowing the dust to stick to the magnetic head surface again. |
