PURPOSE:To enable to drive the ink jet recorder by a low impressed voltage for various ink-jetting frequencies, by a method wherein an ink chamber is divided into an outside chamber provided with an ink-jetting nozzle and an inside chamber provided with a pressure-imparting means, and one of the connecting pipes having different lengths is exchangeably provided between the outside chamber and the inside chamber. CONSTITUTION:The ink chamber provided in an ink jet head is divided into the outside chamber 4 provided with the ink-jetting nozzle 6 and the inside chamber 3 provided with the pressure-imparting means (e.g., a piezoelectric element) 1 for applying a pressure on the ink to jet the ink, and the connecting pipe 13 is provided between the chambers 4, 3. A variety of pipes with the pipe length L varying in accordance with the ink-jetting frequencies are prepared as the connecting pipe 13 so that the pipe 13 can be freely exchanged. |
