PURPOSE:To obtain a polychrome recording picture on an image receiving sheet by changing the temperature of heating by using a plurality of colorless thermal sublimating dyes having the different temperature of sublimation. CONSTITUTION:A transfer sheet 3 in which a layer 2 containing cyan color- forming colorless thermal sublimating dyes (high-temperature sublimating dyes) 7 and magenta color-forming colorless thermal sublimating dyes (low-temperature sublimating dyes) 8 is formed onto one surface of glassine 1 as a supporter with 5-40 micron thickness and the image receiving sheet 6 in which a layer 4 containing an acidic substance coloring colorless thermal sublimating dyes is shaped onto slick paper 5 are stacked. Data are printed by means of heat-sensitive heads A, B having different temperatures from the transfer sheet 3 side. A magenta image 9 is obtained on the image receiving sheet 6 in the low-temparature heating section A, and a blue image 10 in which magenta and cyan are mixed is acquired on the image receiving sheet 6 in the high-temperature heating section B. When yellow color-forming colorless heat sublimating dyes sublimating at a low temperature is added previously to the layer 2, a red image is obtained on the image receiving sheet 6 in the low-temperature heating section A and a black image in the high-temperature heating section B. |
