PURPOSE:To omit complicated calculation, by reading luminanous intensity I and the illumination on vertical plane EVO per unit luminous intensity for coordinates (X, Y) of an attaching position of a lighting device, and computing the illumination on the vertical plane EV from EV=IXEVO/H<2>. CONSTITUTION:First of all, the coordinates (X, Y) of the attaching position of the lighting device are obtained by X=x/H and Y=y/H. Then, an equal luminous intensity board for the lighting device and the like used, which is prepared by drawing data shown in the Figure on a transparent film sheet, is overlaid on an equal vertical illumination board, so that the coordinate axes of both boards are agreed. Values of EVOSO (X, Y) and I (X, Y) corresponding to the point (X, Y) are read, and the two values are substituted into an expression EV=IX EVO/H<2> (where H is a height from the position of a plane to be lighted to the attaching position of the lighting device). Thus the illumination on the vertical plane EVS (X, Y) is computed. In this way, the illumination on the vertical plane per unit luminous intensity can be directly read from the relationship between the attaching position of the lighting device and the position of the plane to be lighted without complicated calculation. |
