PURPOSE:To provide an ink recording head free from ooze of liquid ink by such an arrangement wherein an auxiliary electrode is arranged at the top end side of an electrode which forms a controlled liquid ink unit, and on the surface or on the side edge surface of a dielectric body supporting substrate located covering both sides outside the range of arrangement of the electrode. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary electrode 22 is installed at the top end side of No.1 electrode 20 which should from a controlled liquid ink to be recorded, and on the surface and/or side edge surface of a dielectric body supporting substrate 1 located at both sides outside the range of arrangement of the electrode. By impressing a voltage between the auxiliary electrode 22 and No.2 electrode 50, liquid ink is caused to electrically inflitrate from the side of the auxiliary electrode 22 to the side of the electrode 50 through a porous matter 40, and unnecessary liquid ink oozed out from the edge of the supporting substrate is recovered and removed. |
