摘要 PURPOSE:To enable to prevent a battery from running down without damaging of a heating performance, by a method wherein an automatic engine stopping mechanism is prevented from working at a cold time, at a middle open air temperature, it is operated only at a low speed and stopping time, and at a time when the open air is warm, it is normally operated. CONSTITUTION:If a parking brake is set during operation of an engine, a signal is brought to ''H'', and if an AND circuit is formed by means of the signal and a signal S0 of a temperature deciding circuit 5, a fuel cut signal is brought to ''H'' to stop the engine. In the temperature deciding circuit, if an open air temperature by a temerature-sensitive element 40 exceeds a warm set value VS2, an output S15 of a comparator 42 is brought to ''H'' to bring a signal S0 to ''H'', and an automatic-stopping mechanism is normally brought to a function state. Meanwhile, if it exceeds a middle open air temperature set value vS1, an output S14 of a comparator 41 is brought to ''H'', a signal S0, which forms an AND circuit only at a time when a change-over switch 46 for blower is set to a low and a stop, is brought to ''H'', and at a cold time being below the VS1, a signal S14 is brought to ''L'' to normally bring the output of the AND circuit 43 to ''L''. This enables to perform a saving of fuel cost and prevent a battery from running down without damaging of a heating performance.
