PURPOSE:To prevent any noise, impact on the stopper, etc. as well as to increase the speed of a conveyor in such a way that in a free flow conveyor equipment, a motor-driven roller is installed in contact with the lower side of a pallet on the conveyor to be set controllable in its turning and braked operation. CONSTITUTION:A roller 6 which is installed to be brought into contact with a pallet 8 turns through a motor 10 that turns by receiving signals from a control circuit, a gear head 11, a wheel 12, and a chain 13. Besides, a cylinder 15 is constantly pressed against the roller 6, comes down by fall signals from the control circuit, and releases the braking action on the roller 6. In this constitution, the control circuit unshown in the figure drives a motor 10 and a cylinder 15 by means of a detecting signal for existence of a pallet 8 for the next process and a foot switch signal, and performs the feed and braking action on the pallet 8. The speed can be optionally selected by means of diametral selection of wheels 12, 14 and the roller 6, and any noise, braking impact can be prevented. |
