PURPOSE:To surely follow up change of exhaust gas production and to always perform necessary sufficient gas exhaustion in a smoke collector for the steel plant equipped with an electric arc furnace and an AOD furnace by controlling the rotation number of exhauster and the opening of smoke collecting damper by detecting the operation process of both furnaces. CONSTITUTION:At a state wherein the electric arc furnace 1 is in the first period of charging raw materials and the AOD furnace 2 is in the melting and refining period, each process signal from both furnaces is detected and amplified with control devices 20, 27 of the furnaces 1, 2. Then, the smoke collecting dampers 6, 7, 8 over the furnace 1, the tap hole and the furnace 2 are respectively controlled to the setting openings with a control device 21 for smoke collection damper. The collected smoke amount of each smoke collecting part is automatically calculated with a calculation unit 23 composing a liquid joint control device 22 according to the opening signal of each damper. Because the results thereof is made to be the coil excitation signal of a magnetic contactor 25, the rake angle operation motor, 26 of an exhaustor liquid joint 18 is automatically drived to the position where the revolution speed of an exhauster 10 becomes the speed corresponding to the collected smoke amount. Then, when the operation state of furnaces 1, 2 changes, the same control as abovementioned is carried out with the detected signal. |
