PURPOSE:To perform evenly clear scratching on the whole surface of a material to be scratched by a method in which laser beam is reflected and focused on a rotary reflector in such a way as to irradiate it onto the material to be scratched through an optical fiber annularly arranged. CONSTITUTION:Laser beam 1b subjected to ON-OFF control in a light modulator 2 on the basis of information from a scratching information source 3 is focused and reflected at the reflecting face 5a of a reflector 5, and then orderly caught at one end face 8b of large numbers of optical fibers 8 attached to a holder 7 as it turns around the optical axis C of the reflecting face 5a. The beam passes through the inside of the optical fibers 8, and then is irradiated onto a material 9 to be scretched from other end face 8e of the optical fibers 8 held on an assembling part 10. Whereupon, since a layer 9a to be scratched coated with a rust-proof paint is formed on the surface of the material 9, scratching is made due to discoloration by heating of laser beam. |
