PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an image signal which is subjected to blurring processing with a less time delay.SOLUTION: A filter processor (4) subjects an input image signal to plural times of first filtering processing while a first filter coefficient of a filter having a first tap number is controlled at each time, thereby generating plural intermediate images, a composite unit (7) combines the plural intermediate images to generate a blurred image equivalent to an image which is obtained by subjecting an image signal to second filter processing based on a second filter coefficient with a filter of a second tap number larger than the first tap number. A simple blurring unit (9) subjects an input image signal to simpler blurring processing than filter processing based on the filter processor (4), thereby generating the simple blurred image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
