TAPE WIDTH DIVIDING RECORDER

摘要

PURPOSE:To realize the sound recording for a long period of time with a VTR which records the sound signal on one of two divided tracks and the video signal on the other track respectively, by dividing the video signal track into plural parts. CONSTITUTION:A track 2 is divided into plural tracks 7-12. Then the sound signal is recorded only to a channel 3' after driving a tape. Hereafter channels 8'-12' are successively recorded in the same way. This equals to the fact that the width of a tape is cut into seven parts and then recording is carried out to these seven parts after joining them together. Thus it is possible to record sounds for a long period of time.
