Suspended false ceiling. Its framework is constituted by intersecting T-section suspension members. Its panels are closed by box elements 41 which are pressed by means of leaf springs 30 bearing on the members 10, against the member flange 19 forming a panel. The springs 30 can be fixed, from above, to the members anywhere and they can also be moved longitudinally. A hanger clip (strap) comprises two identical halves whose upper cross-sections overlap and whose lateral portions encompass a thickened profiled cross-section 16 of the member. A threaded rod passes through an upper opening of the clip (strap) and is screwed into a profiled part placed between the upper portion of the clip (strap) and the member, it being possible for the two halves to be locked in place under the actual weight of the false ceiling or by means of a nut screwed onto the threaded rod against the profiled part and therefore laterally against the support member. <IMAGE>
