<p>Primer compositions are disclosed for improving the adhesion of abrasion resistant polysiloxane coatings to plastic substrates. The primers contain a thermosettable acrylic resin, an aminofunctional organosilicon compound, and optionally an ultraviolet light screening compound. A process employing the primer compositions to provide more durable adhesion of transparent, abrasion resistant polysiloxane coatings on plastic substrates is also disclosed.</p> |
