PURPOSE:To decrease the generation of vibration and noise so as to obtain a rolling bearing which keeps smooth rotation for a long period, by applying a soft metallic film in thickness of 0.2mum or less to be coated on rollers, arranged between an inner ring and an outer ring, and dispersedly embedding non-metallic solid lubricant particles in said soft metallic film. CONSTITUTION:The first roller 1 and the second roller 2 made of hard material are alternately arranged between an inner ring 3 and an outer ring 4. A soft metallic film 6, that is, a film of silver or lead in thickness of 0.2mum or less is applied coating the surface of a base material 5 of the roller 2 by plating or ion plating. Then non-metallic solid lubricant particles (for instance, molybdenum disulfide) 7 are dispersedly embedded in a layer of the soft metallic film 6 by the method of rotation or vibration, forming a solid lubricating film by both the soft metallic film 6 and the solid lubricant particle 7. |
