PURPOSE:To always control accurately an air fuel ratio by correcting the deterioration of a sensor with age when the oxygen in the exhausted gas of a combustor is detected, and the ratio of the air to the fuel to be supplied to the combustor on the basis of the detected value is determined. CONSTITUTION:The sucked air is supplied to a cylinder 8 through an air cleaner 2, a throttle chamber 4 and a sucking tube 6. The burnt gas is exhasuted from the cylinder 8 through an exhausting tube 10, and an air-fuel ratio sensor 16 is provided at the part gathering the exhausting tubes. An injector 12 and a throttle valve 14 are provided at the chamber 4. An electric heating element 24 is provided in an air path 22. The temp. of cooling water is measured by a water temp. sensor 36. Electrical signals from the sensor 36, 16 and the element 24 are inputted into a control circuit 40 consisting of a microcomputer, etc., processed arithmetically, and the injector 12 and firing, etc. are controlled by the output of the circuit 40. |
