PURPOSE:To make it possible to display a musical note by its actual time re- gardless its tempo and also display its tempo through such an arrangement wherein the cycle of analysis of an audio signal is freely set and its tempo is also displayed by flashing signals being synchronized with the cycle of analysis. CONSTITUTION:A digital input audio signal stored in an RAM7 is frequency analyzed at the cycle of the shortest note time by an operation & high pitched sound analyzer 8 and its pitch is determined, further its length is determined based on the number of times of frequency analysis by a detector 10 for detecting the number of times of analysis & pattern data, pattern data determining unit 11, etc., and its note is displayed on a CRT14. The cycle of the frequency analysis is freely set by a mode setting switch 15, cycle indicating switch 16 and the note of a long music of which tempo is slow is displayed by its actual time on the CRT14. On one hand, a marker of the CRT14 is caused to flash by a synchronized signal corresponding to the set cycle through a cycle calculation & cycle data setting unit 18, and its tempo together with the note is also displayed by its actual time. |
