The invention relates to a lifting appliance for container handling which essentially consists of a mobile portal structure which can be erected above one or more containers and for this purpose is equipped on either side with suitably controlled and driven wheel pairs. The portal structure mainly consists of three legs (1, 2, 3) which are connected to one another at the top by means of a structure. Two legs (1, 2) are connected to one another on one of the sides of the lifting appliance by a wheel carrier (5) carrying two wheel pairs (6-7, 8-9). The third leg (3) is provided at the bottom with a pivoted bogie (10) for a wheel pair (11-12) and, as seen in side view, is arranged in the longitudinal centre of the lifting appliance. <IMAGE> |
