<p>PURPOSE:To allow a photographer always to become a subject and to attain the photographing of a long-period phenomenon by providing the titled device with a timer means setting up a VTR to recording status for a fixed period after a prescribed period from the start of picture recording. CONSTITUTION:When a picture recording switch 4 is turned on, a picture recording waiting timer 5 is actuated. The picture recording waiting timer 5 actuates a picture recording time timer 6 after a fixed period and generates signals at the start of operation and the end of the operation after a fixed period. Consequently, the VTR8 is shifted at its operation in the order of picture recording waiting, picture recording and picture recording waiting by a picture recording control circuit 7. On the other hand, a display circuit 10 controls a display device 9 on the basis of signals from the picture recording waiting timer 5 and the picture recording time timer 6 to display the status of a video camera and the VTR8. Thus, the VTR8 is turned to the picture recording status for the prescribed period after a fixed period from turning on the picture recording switch 4, so that the photographer can be joined as a part of subjects.</p> |
