PURPOSE:To eliminate malfunction by outputting the signal corresponding to the mode of the inactivation when a reader printer fell into said mode to a controller side, and changing the control of the controller by said signal. CONSTITUTION:When the error in the previous operation of a reader printer is continued upon turning on of a power source, an ''ERROR'' signal and an error content signal are outputted to a controller 2. If there is an error during printing operation, the same processing is accomplished to stop the printing operation. The controller 2 changes the control in accordance with the error content received from the printer 1. The controller corrects the number of the copying sheets to be registered in a memory in case of a jam. An error is displayed on a display part 31 in case of paper empty or when the other print command entered during printing operation. No operations are made at all in the standby state and ''EMERGENCY'' is displayed on the part 31, and all the outputs are turned off in the event of emergency. |
