PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of an AC motor by controlling so that an output waveform for driving the motor does not become a pulse width generated from a constant-pulse width generator. CONSTITUTION:When the output pulse of an oscillator 1 is inputted to a constant-pulse width generator 2 and a distributor 3, the generator 2 generates a pulse having a constant width at every half period to AND gates 41, 42. On the other hand, the distributor 3 outputs a noninverting pulse to the gate 41, and outputs an inverted pulse to the gate 42. The gates 41, 42 alternately produce outputs, and transistors 51, 52 are alternately turned ON. Thus, an AC current having a constant pulse width is flowed between terminal t1 and t2 to drive an AC motor. |
