PURPOSE:To detect contact and enable the measurement of the displacement due to the contact involved by flowing a specified current to an actuator based on an ouput signal from a displacement detector mounted on a flat plate to control the contact pressure of a contact as desired. CONSTITUTION:When a contact 1 contacts an object to be measured, ends 6-1 and 6-2 provided on a contact support base 3 deflect and based on the output signal from a strain gauge fixed on the ends 6-1 and 6-2, current flowing through an actuator 2 is controlled thereby enabling the contact 1 to set the pressure as desired when contacting the object being measured. |
