PURPOSE:To improve the productivity by disposing a mold separating mechanism for separating the core of the upper mold from the lower mold after releasing a clamp and a positioning mechanism for setting the core of the upper mold after closed to the lower mold, thereby simplifying the mold structure and completely automating the operation. CONSTITUTION:A mold separating machine 9 for separating a core 2b after releasing the clamps of upper and lower molds 2a, 2c from the lower mold 2c by automatically raising is disposed in the following step of an unclamping bar 8. A positioning machine 6 for setting a core 2b elevationally movably provided at the upper mold 2a after closing the molds by automatically lowering is disposed in the following step of a clamping bar 5. When the foam forming mold 2 is moved by a conveyor line 1 to the position immediately before the machine 6, an air cylinder 29a of the machine 6 is operated, and a connecting member 18 is grasped by both arms 32a, 32b. When the mold 2 is fed to the position immediately before the machine 9, the core 2b is raised, and separated from the lower mold 2c. Thus, the conveyor line can be completely automated, and the production rate can be improved by shortening the working time. |
