The monitor screen is composed of LEDs. A detector is associated with each of these LEDs. The resistor RX is installed in series in the supply line to the bulb to be monitored. The current determines, at the terminals of RX, a voltage controlling the switching of the transistor T. When this voltage is reached, T becomes conducting and illuminates the LED. The LED thus operates at the same time as the bulb. If the bulb fails, the LED goes out despite the presence of the current at the positive(+) terminal. RX, R1 and T form the detector, R2 and LED one of the 17 information items of the monitor screen. RX is calculated as a function of the W and of the V of A (bulb). <IMAGE>
