发明名称 POLISHING APPARATUS
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the machining precision in each degree of flatness and parallelism by revolving a carrier holding a polished article at a prescribed speed by a guide gear on the outer periphery and allowing the upper and lower surface plates to repeat the reciprocating movement in the opposite directions, thus providing a uniform surface pressure also for a large-sized polished article. CONSTITUTION:A polished article 4 is fitted into each accommodation hole on a carrier 5 and loaded onto a lower surface plate 1, and an upper surface plate 7 is arranged so that the undersurface contacts with the uppersurface of the polished article 4, and an upper track 8 on the both sides is engaged with the reverse feed gears 3 and 3, and a guide gear 6 is driven, pouring abrasive agent onto the both surfaces of the polished article 4, and the carrier 5 is revolved at a prescribed speed in a certain direction. When the lower surface plate 1 repeats the reciprocating movement in the lateral direction by the aid of a driving apparatus 9, the reverse feed gears 3 and 3 engaged with a lower track 2 repeat the normal and reverse revolutions in a prescribed angle, and the upper surface plate 7 repeats the reciprocating movement reversely to the lower surface plate 1 synchronously through the upper track 8. Thus, the polished article can be polished with the high machining precision in each degree of flatness and parallelism by the circular orbit having a certain angular speed and the uniform sliding between the upper and lower surfaces.
