Plant producing heating- or process steam from hot condensate

The installation for converting hot water e.g. power station, partic. nuclear power station, condensate into heating and process steam has a hot-water manifold, steam generators and manifolds, and assorted fittings. It also has a turbo-compressor assembly with several compressors each with at least one steam generator upstream of it. Associated with the compressors are zero-loss intercoolers, in the form of mixers into which predetermined quantities of hot water are introduced. The steam generators, receiving the main flow of hot water, operate as flash-chambers and thus effectively also as zero-loss intercoolers.
