Circuit arrangement for checking the functions of telecommunications switching systems, in particular telephone switching systems

A circuit arrangement is provided to check the functions of telecommunications switching systems, in particular telephone switching systems, a peripheral adapter simulator being connected to local group control devices instead of a group of peripheral control devices via the existing assigned adapter interface. Either stimulus commands or command sequences generated manually via a test operating device are fed to this peripheral adapter simulator, or a simulation computer is used for this purpose. Furthermore, a group adapter simulator is provided which is connected like a centralised control device to a central data channel which connects the group control devices to one another and to the central control device. The commands to be transmitted on the central as well as on the peripheral data channel on the basis of stimulus commands from the centralised control device and from the local control devices are compared with the desired values provided in or fed to the adapter simulators and error protocols are generated if there is no correspondence.
