A spacer bush (1) for the insulated screw mounting of assemblies (2) on carrier boards (3) in electrical apparatuses is plugged together from a journal (7) and a sleeve (8, 9) consisting of insulating material. The journal (7) has a head (12), passes through a perforation (10) in the carrier board (3) by means of its free end and itself has an axial hole (6) passing through it for the mounting screw (4). The sleeve (8, 9) encloses that free end of the journal which passes through the carrier board and forms the bearing surface for the assembly (2). In order to produce a latching connection between the sleeve (8) and the journal (7) on the carrier board, the free end of the journal is provided with radially projecting latching tabs (13) and axially running slots (15) in between them. The length of the slots is limited to the region of the journal projecting from the perforation (10) in the carrier board, so that the screw (4) is surrounded by the wall of the journal, without interruption, in the region of the perforation in the carrier board. <IMAGE>
