The invention describes a method and special arrangements with which one or more metallic dental objects can be soldered in a controlled manner. At present, the individual dental technician soldering individual objects with a flame has absolutely no possibility of monitoring the process from the point of view of measurement techniques and solders exclusively from experience. Therefore, when the objects are improperly heated this often results in defective soldered connections and breakage of the dental replacement structure. In order to avoid this disadvantages it is provided, according to the invention, that the temperature of the metal objects be recorded by measurement techniques during the heating-up and soldering phases and that these measured data be used in special embodiments for control of the soldering process. In the case of a plurality of objects (10, 11), for example, a plurality of thermal contact sensors (7, 8) which are movably attached to a stand (9) is used. In one embodiment the previously fixed structure is suspended over the measurement tips (12, 13). The measured data control the flame. In another embodiment, an infrared sensor, whose measurement spot can be swivelled from object to object, is used for the quick and contactless temperature measurement. <IMAGE>
