PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect shortage of a sheet material of a roll body.SOLUTION: A sheet material shortage detection mechanism comprises: a sheet material information section 14 which shows information on a sheet material 12 wound to a core member 11 in which a light passage part 111 is formed; a reading section which optically reads the sheet material information section 14; and a detection section which detects shortage of the sheet material 12. The sheet material information section 14 is held on an end wound to the core member 11 in the sheet material 12 at a position corresponding to the light passage part 111. The detection section is configured to detect that there is the sheet material 12 when receiving a reading signal obtained by reading the sheet material information section 14 by the reading section during an operation of drawing the sheet material 12, and detect shortage of the sheet material 12 when receiving no reading signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
