PURPOSE:To eliminate the resonance of a machine system of a stepping motor by driving to switch a switching element of a coil current drive in the prescribed frequency sufficiently higher than the maximum responding frequency of the motor. CONSTITUTION:A frequency fc such as a clock pulse of very high speed of MHz order is supplied to a clock input terminal 1, and the high speed pulse is fed to an modulo-n counter 2. A digital comparator 3 compares the duty designation data DD with counted output data CD in the magnitude, outputs a pulse signal in response to the magnitude to a data selector 5. The frequency fp of the pulse signal is set to fc and n to become sufficiently higher than the maximum responding frequency of the motor. A data selector 5 supplies a PWM pulse signal from the comparator 3 through output terminals (a), (b) to switching transistor for controlling the drive current of the coils of different phases of stepping motor. |
