The racquet construction consists of two interconnectable parts, e.g. frame, and shaft handle part (2). An internal threaded connection (1) and sleeve may be fitted to the shaft whilst the frame part has a threaded end section which may be screwed into the sleeve. - The frame strung with cord (5) has a threaded bottom part (7) which is screwed into internal threaded sleeve (8). Various connecting methods may be used e.g. bayonet fitting, pin, or replaceable adhesive which for replacement purposes may be heated.
