<p>PURPOSE:To increase the accuracy for reproducing the neck of a cathode-ray tube and automate the reproduction by locating the reference axis connnecting the centers of a first and a second restricting part on the vertical line and locating the center of a third restricting part on an extension of the reference axis. CONSTITUTION:A body 1 prepared by cutting off a neck from a cathode-ray tube is placed perpendicularly to a first and a second restricting part 23 and 24. At this point, the first part 23 restricts the position of the maximum true- circular section of the funnel cone which is used as the first reference and the second part 24 restricts the position of the given section 21a of a residual neck 2 which is used as the second reference. As the result, the central axis of the body 1 which connects the center of the cone of a funnel 5 and the center of the residual neck 21 automatically coincides with the reference axis (X-Y). In addition, a third restricting part 37 is used to position the central axis of a production neck tube 2 on the reference axis (X-Y). Since the body 1 and the reproduction neck tube 2 are fused after their central axes coincide with each other, it is possible to reproduce the neck of a cathode-ray tube with high accuracy.</p> |
