PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptacle connector capable of enlarging a fixture strength of a receptacle-side fixture to a receptacle insulator even in the case where connectors are small-sized while the receptacle-side fixture and a plug connector can be firmly engaged even in the case where the receptacle connector and the plug connector are connected multiple times, and a manufacturing method for the receptacle connector.SOLUTION: A receptacle insulator and a receptacle-side fixture are integrated by insert molding. The receptacle-side fixture includes an elastic contact piece that extends so as to be separated from an inner peripheral surface of an outer peripheral wall of the receptacle insulator to an inner peripheral side in a free state after the insert molding. The elastic contact piece of the receptacle-side fixture includes a locking recess which is locked with a locking protrusion formed in a plug-side fixture of the plug connector when a fitting protrusion is fitted into a fitting recess.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15 |
