The invention relates to a sealing assembly intended for a wheel with a divided rim for motor vehicles. The sealing assembly comprises an annular spacer 48 made from a rigid material, whose outer edge carries a sealing element 50, for example made of elastomer. The annular spacer precisely positions the sealing element with respect to the two half-wheels 12, 14 so that, once the latter are assembled and the tyre is inflated, airtightness is ensured.
