Brush for cleaning the surface of tubular bodies, provided with a connection piece for a vacuum cleaner, the connection piece (1) having at its end facing away from the vacuum cleaner a moulded-on arcuate part (2) and a complementary part (3) which is opposite said arcuate part (2), is similar thereto, is pivotable about a fulcrum (5) against the action of a spring (4) and makes possible an enlargement of the jaw opening, and the two parts (2, 3) have, on their inner side, bristles (6) which project concentrically, act on the tube surface and the ends of which form a circle the diameter of which largely corresponds to the external diameter of the tubular body to be cleaned. The movement of the brush takes place essentially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tube or - in other words - such that the connection piece (1) is perpendicular thereto. The particles of dust, dirt or the like detached from the tube surface by the bristles (6) are sucked off by the connection piece (1) through an opening (7).
